TheBANK of Edwardsville donates $30,000 to Edwardsville Rotary Club's Airplane Park Playground Project

TheBANK of Edwardsville recently donated $30,000 to the Edwardsville Rotary Club to help fund a new playground at Township Park in Edwardsville, fondly known as Airplane Park. For more than 20 years, the park has been home to one of the most popular playgrounds in the area, but general wear and tear on the wooden structure resulted in it being dismantled last summer. "TheBANK of Edwardsville was a major contributor to the original playground in 1991, and this generous gift will help us lift off the runway as we continue to raise funds," said the Rotary Airplane Park Playground committee member Brian Mulhall.
